A Snake for a Master?

The Medusa Chronicles - episode 2589

"I'm Rebecca. But did you say 'our masters'?!" "Pleased to meet you. I'm Sally. Yes, our masters. Or parasites if you'd prefer that term. It comes to the same thing." "But what are you talking about? My snake hasn't done anything to me, and anyway I could get rid of it any time I choose." "You think so, do you? Why don't you try it?"

So Rebecca reached to grasp her snake.

  1. But she felt something - a mental projection from the snake? - preventing her from doing so.
  2. The snake tightened its grip around her neck, starting to choke her.
  3. The snake bit her.
  4. But as she moved her arm it seemed to get increasingly stiff. Looking at it, she saw it was reverting to stone.
  5. Something else.
