“Lake Dulcimer.”
“Woohoo!” Harriet jumped up and did a victory dance around her chair.
“Well, Let’s pack our things and we can leave tomorrow.” Rick suggested. They talked for a while longer then the girls left.
The next day, everyone arrived with their things in bags and put them in Harriet’s car, then left for the long trip up to the cabin. After several hours of driving, they were almost there. Harriet steered her car down a dirt road overgrown with grass and shrubs.
“Hmmm… This reminds me of a horror movie I once saw.” Rick teased Rebecca.
“Stop it!” Rebecca said and elbowed him in the ribs.
“Come on Becky, you’ve been here a bunch of times.” Rick replied.
“Yeah, but I always thought the woods were creepy. Give me a nice city any day over the country.”
Harriet pulled the car up to the cabin. “Well, here we are.”
The place was a little over grown with weeds and trees. “Wow, how long has it been since anybody’s been here?” Diane asked.
“My cousin Sarah was here last summer, she was the last one. Come on, it’s not as bad as it looks.” Harriet started pulling some vines and other weeds off of the cabin. The others quickly joined in. As soon as they were done, Harriet intended to do a little skinny-dipping to cool off, just like she had done here so many times before.
Rick went around to the back of the cabin to see what needed cleaning back there. He noticed the door to the cellar.
“Maybe we can get some tools from the cellar.” He told Rebecca
Rick tried to open the doors, but it seemed like it was jammed.
“Help me out here.” Rebecca joined him and started pulling. Suddenly, the door let go and the both fell on their rears. Rick got up, looked into the cellar and saw…
