The hall of God

The Medusa Chronicles - episode 59

"Of, course, Gods," giggled the red-head, let's go and take a look. Rebecca grabbed Harriet's hand and jerked her in the direction of the entrance to the Gods Hall.

"Becky, I really don't want be here," Harriet said. She tried to restrain Rebecca's pulling her forward. "Let's go and find Rick and Diane."

This time, a noise which sounded like a loud thunderclap came directly from the hallway. Harriet jumped and tried to jerk her hand free. "That gives me the creep."

"Come on, Harriet," said Rebecca, as she pulled her harder, "What can possibly go wrong. I bet that there is a display in that room involving thunderclaps."

Another thunderclap. Followed by screaming.

  1. Harriet jerked her hand loose and ran up the stairs in terror.
  2. Rebecca managed to drag Harriet into the Hallway of Gods.
  3. Someone emerged from the hallway, covered with soot and smelling burnt.
  4. A heavenly voice could be heard coming from the Hallway of Gods which said "Harriet, I command you to enter immediately."
