Gorgon Garden

The Medusa Chronicles - episode 8

The Gorgon Garden was exactly as you would expect: a nice ornamental garden with cobbled stone path which lead, mazelike, through the beds of aromatic flowers, under shady trelises, past a sundial, around a pond, and stoped at a pagoda in the center.  Of course the highlight of the tour was not the varicoloured flowers, but the amazingly likelike statues carved in shades of grey and brown stone that seemed to pop out of odd places by stone walls, under trees and behind bushes.

Whoever had carved them had done a wonderful job of capturing various expressions of surprise, fright and pleasure.  Of course, All the statues were of beautifull, young people and, whether to preserve the guarden's illusion or under pressure from prudes, although the statues were carved naked, they were dressed in clothes of various fashions.

After resting in the shade of the pagoda for a while, the girls decided to...

  1. split up and explore the forest walks.
  2. stop and smell the flowers - ignoring the 'don't walk on the grass or else' signs.
  3. peek in the employees only area behind stone-wall through the open steel door.
  4. check out that high pitched scream coming from behind those bushes.
  5. examine that statue that looked like their friend Marie.
  6. leave the garden and do something else
